Checking the Stock

This is part of the spreadsheet showing the stock levels in the stationery
department of a large store.
Sales of the week are recorded in the spreadsheet and the stock left is calculated.
If stocks for any items fall below the re-order level. (i.e. quantities in column D are
less than those in column E), they are re-ordered.
Enter the spreadsheet on your computer and complete it.

Column D is the difference between columns B and C.

Formula D3

=B3-C3

Click D3, type formula and drag fill handle down to D7 to complete the column.

Use IF function for column F.

Click F3.

Click fx on the Standard Toolbar.

In the Function Category lists

Click Logical in the left hand list and IF in the right hand list.

Click OK.

IF(logical_test, value_if_true, value_if_false)

Enter the logical test and the two possible results in the boxes.

Drag the fill handle from F3 to F7.
